Responsibilities:
- Perform physical examinations and obtain medical histories
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory and imaging studies
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the supervising physician
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, and respiratory rate
- Educate patients on health promotion, disease prevention, and treatment options
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
Requirements:
- Valid Physician Assistant license New York State
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
